Well, I first saw Camp Lazlo on one of those preview thingys they do in theaters just before they show the movie. They were showing a clip from "Gone Fishin' (sort of)." At the time, I wrote it off as just another Cartoon Network show that would be forgotten in a few weeks. (I hadn't noticed its resemblance to something Joe Murray would do. Actually, I had just about forgotten the name Joe Murray up to that point.) Skip ahead about six or seven months to March, and I'm flippin' through the channels. Hey, isn't that that show that they had the clip of in the theater? Yeah, that's it. I watched it a bit, decided it was pretty cool. It would appear the first CL episode I ever watched was "Beans and Pranks." And I'll always love that episode for that! ^_^

When I first saw a small preview of the show "Camp Lazlo", I thought it was gonna be a lame, creepy show and I did not know any of the characters until I saw the first episode on Saturday (I missed the Friday premiere, so I saw it the next day. I LOVED it! ;D I was wrong about the show and also I first heard the title "Camp Lazlo", I thought that in the show, the camp would really be named Camp Lazlo until I saw the episode and more commercials of this show and I found out "Camp Lazlo" was only the title of the show, not the camp. LOL

I first thought it was just a stupid Cartoon Network show, but boy was I wrong. So somehow I stumbled upon actually watching an episode, and I really did fall in love. After that I began watching Foster's Home, Billy and Mandy, and such. My passion for animation came from this show, man.

It was made by the Rocko's Modern Life producers and animators which is the best show in my opinion!
So I saw it and it was much better than I expected

I thought it was really dumb when I started watching it, too. I think the first episode I saw was "Parasitic Pal/It's No Picnic". But I still get creeped out even to this day when I see PP...
I didn't get into the show until March '06. My brother was watching "Prickly Pining Dining" and it sounded funny, so I watched it with him. I became a fan ever since.

the fist ep i watched was parasitic pal , i just remember liking it when raj said i am doubting your sanity of something like that , his accent is so cute ^^ i didn't get to watch it much when it first aired because they aired when i'm at school , but they changed the time slot when the aired the second season, it was ramadan and they put it on exactly when it was time to break fast and we have a tv in the kitchen so we'd just eat and watch ,and it grew on me ...

Me, flipping through channels then I got the intro. Wow, it does sounds like back to the old Bingo dog nursery rhymes. Funny.

I first saw Camp Lazlo in Cici's Pizza. For some reason Cartoon Network is ALWAYS on in that place, but sometimes it sucks because The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy isn't the greatest show to eat to.
Anyway, it was the Halloween Episode. I have 7 siblings and the 4 youngest were like. "Oh my gosh, CAMP LAZLOOO! AH!" I just thought 'You guys are really embarassing.' And I didn't watch it. I thought it was another crappy CN show. But that was back when I really didn't like Cartoon Network. It wasn't until the summer of '06 when I got really interested. I was in the living room with my brothers and they were watching Parents Day, and I was laughing so hard. I have no idea what got into me, but that day I just fell in love with the show. And Raj. He was the one I laughed at the most.
It was along with this show and Foster's. I used to think that was an okay show. I remember my sister was watching it last year, and I like the animation. I kept asking my little sister questions like "Who's that? So are they brother and sister? Why is that his imaginary friend if he lives there?" But it wasn't until around the time I saw CL that I liked that show either. I'm along with the rest of you that are obsessed with RML.
Woohoo, Parents Day! That episode lives on in my heart. It will forever be my favorite.

The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy isn't the greatest show to eat to. I hear ya. Once I was drinking orange juice in my computer room (which has an awesome TV) and I was watching the episode where Billy's mom kidnapped owls. Billy did something gross (can't remember it). It took me forever to clean up both the carpet and TV screen. Back on topic, I was in Florida for a vacation when I first saw this show. I was debeting whether or not to watch Catscratch's pilot. So I watched cl's pilot, and I fell in love with it.

It was June of this year... I was in my room at my dad's and I wanted to watch some TV. I flipped to CN because I hadn't watched it in a long while.
First, I ended up watching a random episode of "My Gym Partner's a Monkey", and once it was over, CN advertised that "Camp Lazlo" was coming up next. I decided to watch it because I HAD seen some of it around Christmas time (I wasn't paying attention to what it was then.. I was saying "hi" to my cousin's half-sister, then left), and I KNEW it was set in the forest, and since I LOVE the forest, I decided to give CL a shot.
I immediately liked the theme song, and the eps (Hold It Lazlo/Being Edward), AND I got a general idea of who the characters were. I really got to know Lazlo and Edward, I figured Samson was "the nerd", and I liked Raj's accent. One thing I got to know about Clam was that he does a good impression of Edward. And I KNEW Raj, Lazlo, and Clam were best friends.
I didn't get to know the Dung beetles well until a month later, when I saw "Spacemates" during some CL marathon involving a bunch of Squirrel Scout based eps. I wasn't fully introduced to Slinkman until I ran by the ending of "Squirrel Scout Slinkman", and I didn't see much of Lumpus, until "The Big Weigh-In".
A few days after that, I was staying in Charlottesville, VA. I was hoping to get back from dinner in time to see CL... that was when I knew I was HOOKED.

I think the first episode i ever saw for CL was the one with patsy and the snake (way back when CL first aired in summer of '05 and Cartoon Network was promoting it like crazy and had marathons of it almost everyday)
i remember flipping through the channels and i was like "camp lazlo? wha?" i watched it. kinda liked it, noticed the name "joe murray" (thinking it sounded familiar. i didn't connect it to RML until a few days later) and once i realized that i liked joe murray, i was like "omg, hafta watch it now!"
i think Patsy was the reason i kept wanting to watch it...(cause i like girls in "unrequited-love" relationships for some reason) plus it was a cute show. and i was in that stupid "i hate new cartoons cause they're all anime-rip offs or in 3-D!!!" phase of my life, so i didn't have anything against camp lazlo. XD
i was obsessed with it for a good week or two, but once school started back up, i barely ever watched CL (plus i kinda stopped caring)...until this past summer ('07) now i'm all obsessed with it again (but for different reasons this time)

Hmm, the first time I saw CL was in summer '06 (I think). I'd heard of it before then, cuz Cartoon Network had promoted it so much when it first aired in '05... but I didn’t really watch many cartoons around that time, so I didn't catch on to the craze. But I remember one day I was flipping through the channels and I saw CL on. I was like, “Oh, there’s that one show about the monkey…” didn't know what it was called, but sat there and watched it anyway. It was 'Float Trippers / The Wig of Why’ episode, and my first impression was, “Wow, that elephant is extremely obsessed with his retainer,” and then in the next one I thought that that was actually Lazlo's hair until he pulled off the wig, lol. I didn't understand a thing that was going on, especially when Edward started smiling like a maniac to get his fortune told, haha. And I had no idea what kind of creature Clam was! After that, I kept running into it when I’d watch tv. I knew CL was created by Murray, and it's likeness to Rocko's Modern Life dragged me in more, even though I was judgmental about it at first and stood my ground about how it could never live up to RML. But slowly, I got over that, lol. I also kept coming across My Gym Partner's a Monkey, and started wondering to myself why all these shows on CN were about monkeys…and had giraffes and elephants and all sorts of jungle animals in them. That was a plus for me though, I like that type of stuff. But I never really watched or got into CL until September of '07, after I kept seeing fanart on DA and got more curious. I started searching for it on tv and watched it more and more. And now I'm totally glued to it! I can't look at other cartoons the same way, cuz CL is just so hilarious. Sometimes I forget that its a kids show, cuz of the type of humor involved in some of the episodes. I’ve always loved cartoons, but I see them in a new light now. I guess I appreciate them more cuz they remind me of being a kid again. =) Camp Lazlo is just plain fun. I'm sad to see its production ending right when I'm in the middle of loving it. But I'm definitely going to stay a big fan and happy to be one!

I first remember watching a preview of "Lights Out" which CN had aired a few months before CL was to premier. The clip wasn't enough to really mold my opinion of the show, I was looking foward to it but I was on vacation when the show premiered. When I came back I noticed Kaz was a crew member and I generally like the shows he's worked on (Rocko, Spongebob etc...), so I gave it a try and was hooked instantly. Plus a little later I realised Joe Murray made it, can't go wrong with him .
