Nobody get mad at me please....but the first time my little cousin saw camp lazlo( he is a huge fan, hes 7 and he even wanted a monkey doll i had to replace as lazlo) i saw him watch it and for 6 seconds it was on,i thought it was a dumb show.I thought it looked weird,i didnt even know what lazlo was,or all these creatures( im stupid i didnt get a clearer look!) and the strange thing is a couple of weeks later i had a dream with lazlo the character in it and then i remember that name it was from cartoon network,so i checked it out and thought it was a decent show. But in my dream,Lazlo was chasing my cousins and me downhill and he was a monster, the exact opposite of in the cartoon. i am a weird one, that ws the time i thought foster's home was the only good show.Camp Lazlo is an okay show, the characters are likeable

It took me lik 3 eps before I really started to like this show. Then after that I found out it was made by the same creator as rml.

the commercials didn't really excite me as well as that sneak peek CN showed on their Summer Preview Special. But it just took one episode to get me hooked...
Loogie Llama! XD
Surprisingly it took the premiere of Movie Night to turn me into a full fledged Edward fan! =D

It was August and my family and I were on our way back to Canada after attending my sister's wedding in Virginia. We stayed in a hotel halfway through, and me being in love with cartoons, I started watching Cartoon Network at night (on a low volume) while my parents were getting some shut eye. I don't have Cartoon Network at home so I relished the opportunity.. watching cartoons I've never seen before. I turned it on half way through a Camp Lazlo episode. It was mostly about Scoutmaster Lumpus, but I can't remember the episode title. I didn't know exactly what was going on because the volume was down. All I knew was that show looked very familiar to something in my past.
When I got home, I looked up the website for the show title and found out it was done by the same person who did Rocko's Modern Life and I'm like, "yes! That's it!" Like.. the second I saw that episode in that hotel room, I knew I would like this show. Sadly, I can't get episodes here in Canada, but hopefully one of our good cartoon programs will be nice enough to bring it up here! =)
As for character favourites, since Scoutmaster Lumpus was the first one I saw, I immediately liked him the best. Afterwards, Lazlo started growing on me.. and thanks to the preview of Movie Night on the Cartoon Network website, my true favourite character is Edward. Hehehehe.

I really didn't pay attention to it until three months and then I started watching it. I first thought it was one of those temporary filler shows like Atomic Betty or Krypto the Superdog. (didn't like them.) But I grew to like it so here I am. Milk. Yeah.

It actually took me a while to become a CL fan. When I first saw CL on its premiere date in July 2005, I thought the show sucked and vowed never to watch it again. Then a few months later I saw another episode, I think it was 'Beans & Weenies', and I liked that, but it wasn't until 'Snow Beans/Irreconciable Dungferences' that I became hooked on the series!
Then a month later I found this forum, and here I am!

Im glad Im not the only one who hated CL at first. I thought it looked like typical Cartoon Network crap they had been coming out with then and that the animation was horrible. But Im nice, and like to give shows a chance (and was too lazy to get the remote to change the channel heh). Thats the only reason I started liking Lazlo. Glad Im lazy! But Im a relatively new fan to the show, so yea. Im catching up.

I admit, I though Camp Lazlo was crap at first (when I saw it being advertised), but like all shows on CN, I gave it a chance. I've seen every ep on the day each ep premiered. Only a few shows I've given a chance to see have not appealed to me. Examples of this would be Robotboy. Actually, tbh, Robotboy is the only show I know of that I didn't like too much...

For me, I starting liking CL just from the Cartoon Network ads. XD Much like Critter, I was pretty much, "Wow! This show seems so cool! I'm gonna watch it!" And I did. And I love it, and I still do. ^_^

As for me, it was a small while back when I first discovered the show. (Now, I've seen every episode aired so far... xD ) Of course, the irony was the fact I saw it in a restaurant. xD I still remember the first episode I saw. "Parent's Day" was it, and luckily, I was the only person in the restaurant at the time, because as I was watching I couldn't stop laughing, and I wanted to watch some more at home. And I was hooked like a fish when I recognized the characters and show and continued to watch it. xD
I just wish I knew about the show sooner. LOL! What did I do without it before? LOL!
