I'm surprised no one has made a thread about this game. Well, here it is now. Discuss this game here.

(this is a beta run of my rview show called judgement day, based on the tech TV show of the same name) *disclamer* All opinions, and all that junk are solely the opinions of NWO4life2323,and if you disagree, then go ahead, but if you're offnded, you have issues to deal with.
Leaky lake games is an awesome game that was released for the GBA in december. The first thing you notice is how much it pays homage to the cartoon, with mini-games based on various events in the show. The plot is this, jelly cabin goes around, talking to people, retrieving items, and performing many mini-games to qualify in the contest.I love how much the graphics stack up against their TV counterparts, except a few people.Near the end of the game, you'll notice 2 things wrong,1,both patsy and gretchen's skin tones are too dark, and 2,if jane has any dialoge, where in the heck is she?Like I said before, the mini-games pay homage to the different events in the show, including the pine-cone sitting contest, the tug-of-war,and sp,e pther events that I won't reveil. The music and sounds are awesome, but can get gratting after a while, due to all the walking around you'll hav to do.all in all, this is a must have for a die-hard fan of the series,or a new-comer.
(scores) graphics-9/10 sound-9.5/10 gameplay-8.9/10 replay value-10/10 overall-9.3/10

Nice review. Like you said, the music is bright and cheerful, but it can be grating. Also, why the heck are Patsy and Gretchen's tone a little dark? Also, the game play is quite easy and it will take you up to 3-4 hours to beat it. Overall, it's a good game and that it's awesome.

I also noticed that the chef's name is Chef Heinrich rather than McMuseli.

I also noticed that the chef's name is Chef Heinrich rather than McMuseli. Actually, it's Heimlich, as in Heimlich Maneuver. Also, I heard somewhere that's McMuesli's real first name.

I also noticed that the chef's name is Chef Heinrich rather than McMuseli. Actually, it's Heimlich, as in Heimlich Maneuver. Also, I heard somewhere that's McMuesli's real first name. I believe in "Miss Fru Fru" when Gretchen was reading a poem, she said something like "This is a tree poem, by.. Heimlich.. McMeusli." So I'm guessing that's him! ^-^ Yeah, it's kinda odd that they refer to him by his first name, but I thought that's how chefs are normally called. (Like the Chef Pierre guy in the Cheetoh commercial) His first name is kind of cool in way, so I don't really care what they call him. But about the game itself, I think it was an okay game. It could of been better, in my opinion. The graphics weren't *too* bad, but this was released in 2006, so they could've been a lot better. The sprites for the characters were done pretty well, but Raj's looks kinda funny becausen it looks he has some kind of marshmallow on his face! If the characters had different facial expressions, that'd be cool too, but it's not a huge problem with me. The music was okay as well. It's not award-winning symphony music, but I found it enjoyable. It sounds kind of like what you'd hear on Camp Lazo: nice, up-beat music. The sounds effects were kind of iffy. There's not a ton of them though that play in the game (mostly just music plays in the background), so I guess that wasn't too bad. The storyline was pretty well done, but it seemed like some of the mini games get monotonous after doing the same thing for them for about 5 minutes. The last game with the Squirrel Scouts kind of got me upset, because if you just make a few mistakes, then you have to start all over. Overall, though, I think it was an okay game. It has lots of room for improvements, but it has a lot of stuff that Camp Lazlo fans would want. They hint a lot of stuff from previous episodes. (I got to see Spitty again!! ;-) I don't think you can rent GB games, but since it's only around $20, maybe you could see if someone you know has it and play it for a while and see if you'll like it. The game itself is rather short. But I enjoyed it a lot. I think I'll give it a 6/10.

Thanks for the review, Moocow. Sometimes the chef's name escapes me, so for now, I'll just call him The Vegan Chef.

I got the game and it's weird I guess. it just seems like a endless adventure to trade items for others while participating in mini games and stuff. I'm glad I got it for being a CL game and all, but I wouldn't spend anymore than $20 for it. That's about all it's worth. to be honest, I had a funner time playing the CL games on CN.com.

You know, it could have been a good CN.com game, but at least the game looks awesome.
