Well, NWO was jealous of Samson, but he liked it. I was quite jealous of Samson but I was extremely mad that they fell for Edward (Really!)

I partially liked the episode.
The Big Weigh-In- I liked that scene where the Jelly Beans made that lollipop tree. During Lazlo's quote "Now all the little creatures in the forest can have lollipops!", he had eyelashes. Lazlo also had eyelashes in "Tree Hugger". Lazlo is so cute whenever he has eyelashes!
Hard Days Samson was absolutely NOT a great episode because I severely criticised it. Every time I watch it, I always think of the infamous Mr. Big Candy Bar commercial from the late 1970s. Mr. Big is the largest sized candy bay produced by Cadbury Schweppes.
Only Almondine the Owl is supposed to love Sampson because she is almost his type.
If I were to be chased by females just because I looked like a teen idol (even if I am that idol), I would either get on a spaceship and move to another planet or commit suicide. I would also think of the opening credits of Mannix (1967-1975) if I were to be chased by girls!
The Squirrel Trio already have someone they can fall in love with. Patsy-Lazlo Nina-Clam Gretchen-Raj
The newest issue of Dreamboat Magazine could be the cause of this. Hamley Manster is a teen idol and is on the front cover. The Squirrel's mistook Sampson for Manster. The Squirrels later chased Edward. Neither liked being chased by the Squirrel Scouts.
The episode even got me thinking of committing suicide. A very similar situation happened when I saw that commercial for the Mr. Big Candy Bar back in the late 1970s.
I never want to see this episode again in my lifetime!
How would you like it if Lazlo, Raj, and Clam were to be chased by the Squirrels instead of Sampson and Edward?!

...uh... A simple "I didn't like Hard Days Samson" would have sufficed.

(sorry to go off topic but these assumptions are just kind of outrageous to be left alone) Only Almondine the Owl is supposed to love Sampson because she is almost his type. The Squirrel Trio already have someone they can fall in love with. Patsy-Lazlo Nina-Clam Gretchen-Raj How would you like it if Lazlo, Raj, and Clam were to be chased by the Squirrels instead of Sampson and Edward?! ? Like dude... Almondine doesn't have to be JUST paired with Samson and like just because they look similiar and seem similar doesn't mean their meant for each other. Think what you want think about fan-coupling but don't go to a point where you keep drilling us that "OH THIS COUPLE IS ONE TRUE COUPLE COMPARED TO THAT OTHER ONE". Once you get your point out like don;t keep mentioning it again. Sure the scouts can be paired up with them but they can also be paired up with characters as well. Or maybe they're not at all interested in girls. So that bit about "The Squirrel Trio already have someone they can fall in love with": not necessarily true. Actually it would be funny to have the Jelly Bean trio be chased by their own group of fangirly Squirrel Scouts. But then it would be overdone if we seen Samson and Edward undergoing the same thing. And if you actually thought about suicide over one episode... you need to know that it's just a cartoon... Nothing worth killing yourself about.

I agree. That is the reason why I didn't like him on TV.com. Besides, it only happened one time, I think. By now, the Squirrels have gotten over it by now.

(on topic) I actually look forward to seeing Samson being stalked by fangirls. I have to wait a little longer for a rerun but I really wonder if the creators got the rabid fangirl idea from seeing actual CL fangirls/boys online. X3 (off topic) I agree. That is the reason why I didn't like him on TV.com. Besides, it only happened one time, I think. By now, the Squirrels have gotten over it by now. Ehhh keep the "hate" like out from the public. You can not like him all you want but at least keep it out of the places that these kinds of things shouldn't be seen. If something goes wrong with concerning this person then just complain to the staff (for you either Tiff or Netaro) or post on the appropriate thread/board with your complaint.

I'm beginning to think that may be the case as well. I think Joe Murray does the same thing as Tom Warburton(KND) and spies on the message boards and fans. They see what the fans are talking about and what they want and then they try to incorporate that into their shows to make the fans happy.
It really would not surprise me if the episode was a satire of the fangirls chasing after their favorite character. We have to keep in mind Joe has a very wide and strange sense of humor.

Yeah, I'd be surprised as well. If Joe Murray had an account there, we could totally chat.

Ok, a little late in getting my review up, but here goes! THE BIG WEIGH IN: I really wasn't too thrilled with this ep, as the plot with the fat turkey was somewhat similar to 'Tree Hugger'. High points of this episode would be Lumpus' insanity at trying to eat the woodland creatures and McMuesli going crazy upon hearing that Lumpus wanted to gain weight. Oh, and the Lollipop tree was hilarious too! Grade: B-HARD DAYS SAMSON: The better of the two eps. This episode showed us that Samson is Acorn Flats' mailman, and that he has a steong resemblance to a teen idol. (Makes me wish I looked that cute. ) The squirrel scouts we're VERY hyper in this ep, and the chase scenes we're by far the highlight of the episode. Also, did anyone else notice that Chip and Skip seemed smarter than usual? After all, they did help Edward continually rat out Samson. Speaking of Edward, I think he deserved whatever he got in the end when Raj and Clam pasted his picture on 'Dreamboat' magazine. Pity it happened just as Samson was about to accept the fact that he was going to be adored though... Grade: A+
