Instead posting the small questions back at the CL FAQ thread...just post your questions here! Don't set up a separate thread that's been already stated in the FAQ itself! Also questions about like forum/thread/issue related stuff is permitted. Be sure to look at the MAIN RULES, CL FAQ & FORUM TAG TUTORIAL to avoid frustration and repetition of questions we've already answered! If it's a rant and/or complaint concerning the forum and its members/topics... then post on an APPROPRIATE thread that the STAFF set up... or if there's no thread currently up, PM the staff. Questions here will be answered ASAP by the staff. Members can also answer as well.

1.Whats a post? 2.Whats the difference between a reply and a post?
If you can answer both of these in one simple answer, then that would be great

I've taken the definitions from a dictionary in which you can do the same. The differences of the two terms only took 3 seconds to figure out. -__-; 1) a post is "An electronic message sent to a newsgroup/forum/etc.". 2) a reply is "A response in speech or writing." So a post really is also a reply here! Just that the post you make when making a new thread is NOT A REPLY... because it's the first post that doesn't reply to any of the posts made before it. Like your post above is a REPLY to my post when I started this thread. Just like how all squares are rectangles but not all rectangles can be squares. Simple? Yes?

Can your avater or signature be a moving image but not a link to photobuket. you mean an animated gif right? Like how this smilie rolls its eyes? Yes it can. It doesn't have to be hosted in photobucket. But it has to be hosted from some online image hosting service (like photobucket.com, imageshack.us, etc.). It doesn't have to be photobucket but it has to be able to let you link images at other sites. Also to answer those questions you posted recently (Please post these kinds of questions here as well. This what this thread serves to do! Roleplay - "To assume or act out a particular role" in this case here at the forum, people can act as actual CL characters or any other character. Crossover - "combining two or more things as one" Ehhh I'll explain after the "mess" concerning this is like over. ^^; OC - Original character when a fan makes up his/her own character.

I don't think the .flv type of files don't work. I know that .jpeg/.jpg, .gif, .bmp and .png files work. I have no clue what the .flv type file is really. So I guess those kinds of files don't work. :-\

So,inresponse to your answer. So,hypothetical situation.I go into the OC lounge and make a thread and in the thread I make a thing saying what the thread is about. That thing would be a post right since it is the first 'reply thing' there, right?
P.S.'Reply thing' would mean the thing at the start of the forum

All replies are posts... but not all posts are replies. The VERY VERY first post of a thread would be a post BUT NOT A REPLY. because "the VER VERY first post" is not replying to anything, it's just posting up a subjector topic..

When starting a thread, it´s considered a post. A responce is the post about the starting post. It´s just a discussion. Replies are posts that are about the starting post.
