Okay, I'm a little confused. I heard it through the grapevine (actually some website) that CL was "greenlit" to extend and not be cancelled until 2009. Then I ran by Joe Murray's website, saying that November was the last month of CL production. At first, I thought he meant the Christmas special, until I heard from other sources that it'll be cancelled after the Christmas special (or something like that).
Anyway, if Murray was "forced" to discontinue production (I may be wrong about this), it was probably because of a certain law Cartoon Network has for its shows. The so-called "65 episodes" limit. Besides, if CN doesn't show reruns (they probably will), it'll STILL be on "The Cartoon Cartoon Show" (which I can only see if school's not in session) and "The Cartoon Cartoon Top 5". If "Dexter" and "Powerpuff Girls" have been on those shopws, more than likely, CL will be. =)
I'm kind of disappointed that CL will be ending so soon. I started watching it last summer, and I've grown to like the storylines and nearly all the characters ever since. But, the media's gotta do what it's gotta do. If Joe Murray "is supposed" to stop production soon, he's gonna do it. He's gonna follow the rules.
But, we'll wish him the best of luck on whatever new project he does! =)

I hope CL gets renewed and is given a few extra seasons. Maybe we can start something. Like a CL petition, duh!

Joe Murray has put up a new post in his journal.
I will still support Murray and I look forward to whatever he has planned next.

Hi, this my first post on this site and about Camp Lazlo ending after a season 5, Joe Murray's very own website stated there are 61 episodes total and with the new upcoming episode this week with Lumpus proposing to Jane Doe with Edward's brothers and the so-called final episode "Lumpus's Last Stand" and the other segment of the same episode. The two episodes that I've mentioned are Episodes 58 and 59 so my conclusion two more episodes after those two are yet to premiere making it a total of 61 episodes. Where's Lazlo can't be counted as an episode because its a movie and doesn't have an episode number only named as M1. So can I be right or not?

^wha? only 2 more new episodes after the "lumpus last stand" episode?!
that only makes a total of...*counts* 8 episodes for the 5th season (well...9 if u count the christmas episode) they usually have 13 episodes per season. if it ended at 13, i would've been able to be satisfied w/ that....8's just too small for me ><

TV.com's Camp Lazlo section is totally screwed up. The Episode List is bady numbered, first of all "Where's Lazlo is not an episode, its a movie and if you look there is only truly 57 episodes plus the upcoming new episode for this week and next week. Making a total of 59 episodes, so my opinion the final two will air sometime in April or May.
