Hmmm, the 1st title sounds promising.... one of those types that will lead to an unexpected twist I hope...
The 2nd one looks pretty straight forward.. but then again... CL writers never fail to surprise me :-)

These were a couple of great episodes here. Slinkman was somewhat out of character though. He was real strict. It was funny how Samson was all panicked that his chemistry set might have turned the dungs into candy. I want give too much away as I don't know how many have seen the episodes yet. I was expecting a little more competition in Tour Wars but Lazlo once again shows how he pretty much has no competative bone in his body. Makes me wonder why he'd be competing in that Lemonade drinking contest in Hold It Lazlo. Regardless it was a real great episodes that I feel all here will enjoy. Later everyone.

I thought both of these episodes were pretty good.
Dungs in Candyland
I was pretty surprised to see Slinkman being strict about candy in camp. Well then again he is a strong follower of the rule book. Anyway, it was pretty funny with Dave and Ping Pong's role in this episode: as Samson's chauffers. And we again see our favorite dung beatles in their stupidity splendor. And finally, Samson had a perfect chance to hang out with the Jellies, but he was too busy at the moment!
Grade: B+
Tour Wars
Personally, I found this episode a bit funnier than the candy one. I liked it when Lazlo said that Clam was good with words, yet he only said one word at a time. And of course Edward would try to get all of the attention for himself, only to have Lazlo be oblivious (in a funny/cute way) about it and ruin his plans. (again).
Grade: A-
Overall Grade: A-/B+

"Dungs in Candyland"
Slinkman was'nt really in character with in this episode, I mean he was like all strict with the candy policy they have at CK. I suppose when it comes to be salted by Scoutmaster Lumpus, Slinkman does all he can, even if it is being strict to the scout, to avoid being salted. Anyways, this episode was pretty funny, I don't why people are discriminating against this episode, although it was'nt the best it was decent. It was funny seeing both The Beetle's pumpkin and Slinkman's shredder, being crushed by the pair oversized candy. I also seemed to like Sampson's priceless expressions, when seeing "Chip and Skip" being destroyed, by Slinkman's machine.
Episode Grade: B+
"Tour Wars"
My favorite of the two episodes. I found this episode more funnier than the previous one. It's funny how Lazlo is oblivious to Edward's Schemes, but ends up ruining it, through his gullible ways. It was pretty funny when Lazlo interrupted the parts that were supposedly to be apart of the tour. The loons were also pretty funny in this episode, seeing one of them wanting to fight Lazlo, over ruining the tour. I also found it funny when they take the term "Turn that frown, upsidedown" into a literal sense, by actually doing so. One thing I did'nt like about this episode is that the plot seemed rushed a bit. Nonetheless, it does'nt ruin the episode.
Episode Grade: A-

I'm really starting to think Sampson is starting to get too many episodes, envolving him. It's like starting to bother me, but whatever.

Well, I thought the first episode was funnier, because of the whole "Strict Slinkman" thing (he got salted!), and Samson and the camp treating the candy like an underground illegal mob buisness. Grade: A
I can't really describe the other one because I had to have the sound down, and I was about to play Resident Evil 4 anyways.

Here is my two cents for the recent CL episodes. Dungs in Candyland : Another Samson episode, though I quite liked this one because he actually creates candy for everyone in Camp after it's confiscated by Slinkman, who I should point out acts completely out-of-character with his strict behavior. Lumpy would've definitely been a better choice for that bit but the rest of the episode was pretty good, especially when the Dungs made large pieces of candy by accident, and the looks on Samson's face when Slinkman's new shredder shreds (and stomps, and pummels, and grinds) what he thinks is Chip & Skip are priceless!  GRADE: B+Tour Wars: The better of the two. When all those campers got on the Jellies' boat at the start, I actually thought it would sink! Go figure! I cracked up at Clam's tour when he pointed out 'tree!', 'rocks!', and 'boulder!'. XD Now when Edward took over, I must say he actually had a cool speedboat, but nowhere near as cool as Randy's. I also liked when Lazlo kept (unintentionally) wrecking his tour when he joined it with everyone else (except Raj and Clam of course). Overall, really great episodes and I can't wait to see what next week brings. GRADE: A |
