I think I should be the voice actor for Gretchen. Why? Because Gretchen needs a more masculine voice. I think she should be colored turquoise as well. Why? Because green doesn't look good on alligators. It's breaking the "Alligators should not be green" rule.

There's no rule about this false "one voice actor per a character". It's not listed anywhere or by anyone who is professional and official in the business of voice acting. Plus why? Voice actors have to have the ability to do a wide range of voices. It's what their careers are!! It would be rather economically insufficient if the casting actually followed this awful so-called "rule". In the show alone, Camp Lazlo has a majority of their voice actors as multiple characters: Carlos Alazraqui as Lazlo and Clam. Jeff Glenn Bennet as Raj and Samson. Tom Kenny as Lumpus and Slinkman. Steve Little as Chip, Skip and the Lemmings. Mr.Lawerence Joe as Edward, Ping-Pong, Dave. Jodi Benson as Patsy, Jane Doe, Almondine. Etc., etc. Heh! Even the voice actors listed above did other minor voices for the alot of the minor characters in the show as well! So no, jim. The rule you claim to be a rule is not a rule... it's a stupid idea that will do nothing but complicate things for the actual show production. I don't care if the world revolves around me or not! Jill Talley cannot voice 2 of the main Squirrel Scouts! She must voice only one! Have you ever heard of Charlie's Angels? It was a detective drama that ran from 1976 to 1981 on ABC. The three original angels are: Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson, and Jaclyn Smith. Fawcett left at the end of the first season and was replaced by Cheryl Ladd. Jackson left two years later and was replaced by Shelley Hack who after one season was replaced by Tanya Roberts. I only think Nina's voice is fine as it is, but Gretchen's is not. How would you feel if Gretchen were voiced by Kath Soucie instead of Talley? I think Gretchen's voice would be much better if Soucie did so. What the merp... When did Charlie's Angels come into play in this topic? This is stupid... I like Kath Soucie! She voices Cubert Farnsworth in Futurama and the Deville Twins on Rugrats. I still want her to do a voice on Camp Lazlo! Do I have to make such a big deal out of this?! (cries loudly) You were ALREADY making a big deal out of this! Not this again!! Stop making yourself look like an idiot! Didn't I tell you to read the rules and stop breaking them!? I'm making a big deal out of this because you've been acting like this stupid eversince you became a member... Stop being stupid, use some common sense and logic, and stop making a big deal about something relatively trivial! Next time I see this stupid behavior of yours it's the next step to suspension.

I don't get it. Whenever I be as direct and hostile about issues, I get no praise. However, whenever Sanna does my job... she's honored by many. Weird.
Voice actors/actresses have no boundaries. They can do as many characters as they wish if they are good enough or whatever. Bleh. Welcome to reality you freakin' idiot.

you get plenty of praise Netaro! I think it's just a bit over shadowed by a lot of respect too so it isn't as seeable or something (if that makes sense lolz)
yea.. one voice actor per scout? whoever's idea that was doesn't know too much about that type of buisness cuz it's economically inefficient and doesn't help with anything really.

Jill Talley voices Gretchen and Nina. She broke the rule of "One actor per Squirrel Scout." Which Squirrel Scout should be better suited to Jill Talley? Gretchen or Nina? I would choose Nina because her "high-pitched" voice fits her very well. They would have to pick a better voice actor for Gretchen. ...WHAT?! What rule? First of all there are no RULES. second, I love Gretchen's voice! amd they obviously don't need a better voice actor because they picked her. e__e and about the whole voice acting thing... What's your point? There is no such 'limit' WELL... :'P EVERYONE HAS SAID THIS, but I think that gretchen's voice is perfect.

I agree that Nina sounds quite different from Gretchen
I see what he was saying about 1 voice actor per scout but I don't agree with it...I mean, it depends if they're good like someone else said and Carlos (whatever his last name is lol) does the voice of both Lazlo & Clam. So, it just depends on who's voice is best for the character rather than trying to stick with 1 voice per character
I also see what he meant about Kath Soucie being the voice actress, she would probably be good at doing a tomboyish voice (she voices male characters aswell as female ex Phil from Rugrats) but I still think Gretchen's voice is fine as it is & that Jill Talley does a good job of it, Jill probably kinda suits Gretchen better & probably does a better Gretchen but then again I've never heard Kath Soucie try to do Gretchen's voice
