Wait a minute, if Lazlo was 7th place, wouldn't that mean the other scouts would get certificates as well?
Don't they know that prehistoric creatures thawed out after several centuries will be overwhelmed by our highly technology and eventually go insane?

Wow, I really enjoyed both these episodes... xD
As for "Award to the Wise", I think this episode was really well written. I thought it was really nice for Lazlo to go out of his way to make awards for everyone when they feel left out. Some of the awards were really funny. xD Like, Samson's... "Top Whiner", "Loudest Snore", "Most Socially Awkward", "Best Dodgeball Target", "Lowest Self-Esteem" to name a few. xDDD I loved how "Most Trustworthy" meant the most to him. Aw, so sweet. I thought it was funny that Samson has a little routine in lining the toilet with toilet paper before going to the restroom... "One for safety, one for freshness ... and one for comfort!" if I recall correctly. LOL! xD I thought it was funny when everyone started taking everyone else's awards and flushing them, everyone went crazy. xD Then Lazlo's was only left, and he realized awards aren't everything and gave it to Samson for tissue. That was a great episode in my opinion. Even though that part with Lumpus at the very end totally, like, grossed me out. >.<;;;
And "Cave Chatter", I really liked that episode as well. Samson is such a chatterbox when given the chance. xD Poor thing always getting shushed, all that pent-up opinion in him. I found it funny when they were trying to defrost the caveman. And the name Lazlo gave the caveman, Bumblepuss. Really weird. xD And Edward's comment, "He's just a blithering idiot! ...I guess he is a Bean Scout." xD All the characters drooling going, "duuuhhh..." And I loved at the end when Samson was all, "Anyway, so I was saying... how about that Milt? Did you see those shorts he was wearing? I am sorry, he is NOT a petit! I'm tellin' you, you gotta be, like, at least a husky..."
Overall, these episodes were worth the wait to me. xD

I'll check later.
Freddie played more significant roles in these two episodes, so I'm about as happy to see that as Hyper Spartan was about Dave and Ping Pong in Scoop Of The Century. Also, in Cave Chatter, after Jelly Cabin thaws out the caveman, look closely at everyone in the cafeteria. Patsy and the tapir scout can be seen eating with the scouts. Weird...

I'm now really starting to belive that Lazlo has developed his own catch-phrase. "YAKKA!"
Original, I like it a lot.

It's pronounced "Yucca". And he's been saying it for a long time. I think Raj or Patsy may have said it once in an earlier episode that started the thing.......

Haha, great episodes.. again, Samson plays a big role in both .. initiator of the award massacre and also the caveman's buddy
They're gonna have to rename this show Camp Samson sooner or later...
Another catchphrase commonly used... Lumpus: "Me likey" (followed by obnoxious kisses)
About Samson's loneliness... I can relate to it cuz I was once like that.. sob sob sob!..... HEY!! Listen to me!!!
@darkspine Sonic: check my sig V V

I've really got to start seeing these episodes sooner. Anywho, here are my reviews. Award to the Wise: Hilarious is an understatement for this episode. Outrageously hilarious is what I'd use to describe it. Seeing Raj and Clam try and talk Lazlo out of the twig and the passage of time was the appetizer. What really got the episode was when Lazlo gave everyone an award (My favorites were the 'incidental character award given to Sheldon and 'best dodgeball target' for Samson) and everyone started to get competitive how some people (accidentally) got two or three awards. Of course, as we all know poor Lazlo made no less than 67 awards for everyone using toilet paper when he ran out. Then I really started laughing when Samson started taking Dave's awards and flushing them, then everyone went crazy and they all flushed their awards. Then Lumpy got what he deserved for his laziness at the beginning and got a snot-covered award after Samson blew his nose on Lazlo's award.Overall, Great episode! GRADE: A+Cave Chatter: Another great episode here, a rarity for two 11-minute segments in the same episode. As I've said before, poor Samson never seems to get a break. Sad that he also has no one to talk to but a Cave-something. Liked how the Jellies used various methods to try and thaw him out, and when he finally was thawed, it just got funnier with the camera flashes (Freddie and his needs for pictures always crack me up. Remember when he posed with 'Lumpus the rock'?), Samson conversation, and the whole Bumplepuss wrecking camp, literally sending everyone up in the air. At least they re-froze him in the end, but man! Who knew Camp Kidney's showers were so cold?! GRADE A

Yay for flooding the board with repeats to create an illusion of having more than distinct award when really the eye is naturally distracted to the animated Samson and if it downs manage to catch a glipse of the award board, will usually start from the top and go down to the bottom.
I think the "TOP" award refers to Samson not being worthy of recieving a "completed" award but rather an incomplete one because Lazlo forgot about his existence... or Samson recieving nothing or something subsequently negative.

What can I really say now. These new episodes have not disappointed me yet. Very well done. Don't get me wrong when I say this but I was real ticked off with the other campers. Yea it's great that Lazlo has such a big heart that he wants all the campers to feel special but come on, Lazlo put a lot of work into that stick sculpture and deserved maybe even better than 7th place in my opinion. It was funny though all the awards Lazlo had to come up with for everyone and ended up using all the camp toilet paper. All in all very well done. As for Cave Chatter it was ok to me. Poor Samson only being able to confide in a frozen caveman. I guess it's ok that Samson's getting so much airtime now but I'm wandering if it's a little much. Ah well it's all good. Samson's an awesome character in his own right. Very good episodes.

true but the caveman probably didn't see any technology

This may seem kind of insane, but wouldn't Bumblepuss die from being frozen for eons? I mean, sure it's a cartoon, but wouldn't his skin cells die and freeze over after being frozen? Also, the technology to actually revive a frozen creature is still limited and the fact that the frozen animals are still dead when thawed out.
