Hey, sorry for the bump... but I just watched this episode for the first time (you guys know why... and if yuo don't, well... I thought this show was retarded back then) and felt like reviewing it. Since this is an old epsiode... I don't expect any replies... and that's cool. ^_^
Parasitic Pal:
Well... I assume this is the first introduction of Nurse Leslie (right?) and that was cool. She obvious cares slash doesn't. ^_^ Lamar is actually a specific Lamprey... I forgot it's genus name or whatever; this is from Slinkman's intelligence. This episode really had a lot of campers! I mean... I was looking for different ones, other than Gordan, Norman, Bill, Chuck, Milt, Fred, etc. Edward's voice sounded different actually. Just like characters in earlier episodes of a show... their voices change. He sounded like Lazlo's Shrub Buddy from the season finale pantsing episode. Heh!
In a way, Chip and Skip are a bit intelligent at one point of the episode. They can write cursive smoothly! If you notice on the Buddy Day list... they can serious own with cursiveness! HAHA! That's about it. Edward's annoyance totally was exposured here. I liked how he tried so hard to get rid of the leech lamprey off Lazlo's head. HAHAHA! The end was cool too... since everyone started having lampreys on them... and Nurse Leslie bailed. I don't get the Lamar to Lauren part... because yeah. Pretty unreal to give birth that quickly in the water... plus... WHAT IN THE BLAZES!?
The next episode... and I forgot the name of it:
I assume this is the introduction of Patsy and the Squirrel Scouts(?) I don't know. The pine cone sitting contest was a bit... awkward. Edward's voice was still in Shrub Buddy mode... and Lazlo does show some feelings to Patsy. Bleh... I an not a big fan of the Squirrel scouts... and after seeing this episode... I will probably never be. I assume this was the introduction for Lumpus' love for Ms. Doe(?) and I assume that big... fat... thing... was this Miss Mucus everyone's been talking aobut while I sit here in my chair wandering who-this-person-was-but... doesn't know who she was... and I' just gonna stop there. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyways... yeah. The pine-cone sitting contest is such an awkward contest thing. I felt somewhat uncomfortable watching it. I like how Lazlo held in the physical pain within... thus lasting longer. Patsy's sickening smirk made him lose focus and he fell. That's how fighters get stronger actually. You just don't let the pain bug you... and you'll last. Heh. That's all I got to say about that.
In conclusion, this epsiode was cool... since it was the first time I saw it... and yeah. I now have a better understand of some of the characters... since their personalities were just developing in the earlier episodes of this show. It's motivating me to draw some more... and I gained respect for Chip and Skip. Yay cursive!
