She did smile at Edward at the begining of the episode.

um.. just cuz they smile at eachother means they like eachother? your theory is very undevoped and about as ridiculous as the Clam/Patsy one. supply evidence like the episode where she smiled at him and why you think that means they go together..

*just saw that episode* I didn't know it was on the new ep btw, that's something else you shoulda mentioned first instead of waiting so long. I suppose it could happen maybe.. but I still believe that Clam/Gretchen are the best pair!

I can see it happening a little bit, though I stand with debaser as supporting Clam/Gretchen more.
Anyways, I think Gretchen just likes boys in general more than her bunk mates, even though she really doesn't like to admit it all that much. Out of the three girls, I think she's the most romantic, though she hides it with her ruff 'n tough exterior. Patsy's the most flirtatious, and Nina... well... I really wish they would give Nina more air time.

yea I couldn't see it happening at all until I just saw the new ep. I bet it will just be something for that ep though. I just can't see them together.. maybe if there's more evidence in future episodes I can maybe support this pairing, but I now understand why this pairing was thought of now (at first I thought it was just random stuff like some of the other pairings mentioned earlier).

I think I would support this couple anyway. I mean, Gretchen is rude, and Edward is rude too. So, they do share some characteristics. She also kept on smiling to Edward. I support both Gretchen/Edward and Clam/Gretchen! (Equally)

there is obviously a ton more Clam/Gretchen evidence though.. how you could support the couple equally in one episode with 2 occurances is just weird... it obviously doesn't take much at all to sway your opinion.

You know, before the episode aired (actully, a long ways back...), I thought of this pairing. [shrug] So I can see it happening, I guess...

It freaked me out when I saw that episode. Me and my sister were totally freaking out when Patsy told Raj that. I don't currently support any couple but I do think Gretchen will show more signs of it in the future.

I didn't see the episode but I must say I'm like a little shocked yet at a bit curious at the same time. I can see some reasons why yet my favorite Edward coupling still has to Edward/Veronica Doll! XD
I just hope that they don't overdo the coupling and like ruin my fandom for Edward. ^^; So I'll just wait see if the CL series is promoting this coupling even more.

The thought of Edward liking anyone (aside from his Veronica doll, of course...) is a weird thought. The fact that he DOES love a doll is what is so funny and unusual about his character. He is supposedly heartless, so when he shows evidence of being kind and loving, its supposed to be like, "whoa! Weird!". If he actually starts to like someone throughout the series, I believe that his character will be ruined. At least, the old Edward we know and love will be. And I personally love him as he is. I hope they dont throw in any more evidence of his suppressed kindness other than random moments like they have been. So, long story short, Im no fan of this relationship. Sorry GretchenxEdward lovers.

I know, its sad on Gretchens part, but still. I will drag this out more than it should be by saying that too bad for Gretchen. I like Edwards "loveless state of being aside from his Veronica doll" character more than I like Gretchen being happy. I suppose Im stubborn too then! Besides, Gretchen slammed the door in his face in Dirt Nappers so apparently she doesnt like him too much...
