A "post" can mean many things: ---------------------------------------
A blog or internet board entry (like this)
Mail.the postal system, especially in Commonwealth countries
The "post" is the name of a number of newspapers including: The New York Post (USA) The Washington Post (USA) The Jerusalem Post (Israel) The Sunday Post (Scotland)
The Post Cereal Company
A Millitary Base
(P.O.S.T) Power-On Self-Test. A Computer's Pre-boot sequence
POST Is An HTTP request method ------------------------------------------

In Norway, post mainly means "the mail system". Of course, also we that use forums a lot use post-posting.

I have a question: Under my icon, where it says posts, it says that I have only posted 144 times. It has said that for quite some time, and I know that I have posted more than that. Is there a reason why it does that? It could just be my computer, or maybe it just takes time to get up there.

The ones I know that the Chat and RP boards donĀ“t have post count.

Some of the boards and sub-boards has the post count disabled. Not all (like the CL stuff) but just a few. ^^; Post ranking (posting a mass number of posts (no matter how spammy) just for the sake of gaining a new rank) was a bit of a problem back then and the forum is running out of room to add new post count badges. ^^;

Also... I jsut flat-out hate people who think they are almighty because of post count. Plus like... it's quality versus quantity.

Oh okay! I thought there was something wrong with my computer or someting. And don't get the wrong idea that I was trying to get a new rank or anything, because I wasn't. That would be really annoying to everyone else. Aw man! Now your going to think I'm a suck-up! Okay, now I'm just going to stop freaking out about what you guys think of me...And now I'm going to stop typing.

How do you do the thing At some time Someone wrote Something? If you mean like what I just did in this post... then yeah like Debaser said: Just click the "quote" button on top right of whichever post you want to quote. If you want to quote multiple posts then you just copy and paste them into one post.

Well, I don't think it's much of a problem. I mean, they're linking to the site. Maybe ask the admins for a better clarification.
